The city of Scottsdale provides social services to senior adults and their families. Masters Level Social Workers are available by appointment Monday - Friday, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. to provide support, education and resources free of charge.

A variety of social services are available to meet the needs of those requesting services or information. Among the services that are offered are case management, information and referral, and home visit assessments. Benefits consultation, home delivered meals and other services are provided by brokerage agencies offering services at our centers.

The need to reconnect and/or re-create is perhaps the most essential need in order to enhance and improve the quality of life for the older adult population in our community. The main goal of Granite Reef Senior Center and Via Linda Senior Center is to provide the avenues of connection. Through our many services, groups and activities, we strive to be the all-inclusive conduit for the senior adults in our community.

Social Workers are also available to make home visits upon request. To make an appointment to see a social worker, contact the Granite Reef Senior Center at 480-312-1700 (south of Indian Bend Road) or the Via Linda Senior Center at 480-312-5810 (north of Indian Bend Road.)
